This open systems approach to storage allows our customers to deploy full-featured iSCSI SANs built on the award winning SAN/iQ software onto tier one x86 servers from leading OEMs, including HP, IBM and DELL. Data centers equipped with VMWare ESX servers can also install the Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) software to create a highly available SAN with internal disk drives that leverage all the advanced features of a VMWare environment with requiring the purchase of an external SAN.
